Responsible Gaming

Gambling at PokieFox is intended for entertainment purposes only and should never be considered a source of income or a financial solution. It is essential to approach online pokies with a mindset focused on leisure and enjoyment while maintaining a clear understanding of the risks involved. The excitement of gaming should not overshadow the importance of responsible gambling practices.

Self-Control Tools

PokieFox is committed to promoting responsible gambling by offering various self-control tools designed to help players manage their gaming activities effectively. These tools include:

• Deposit Limits: Players can set daily, weekly, or monthly deposit limits to control the amount of money they can deposit into their accounts.
• Loss Limits: This feature allows players to establish a maximum amount they are willing to lose over a specific period, helping to prevent excessive losses.
• Wagering Limits: Players can set limits on how much they wager in a given timeframe, promoting responsible gaming habits.
• Session Time Limits: This tool enables players to specify how long they wish to play in one session, encouraging breaks and reducing the risk of extended gaming periods.
• Cooling-Off Periods: Players can opt for a temporary break from gambling, during which they will be unable to access their accounts.
• Self-Exclusion Options: For those who feel they need a more extended break, PokieFox provides self-exclusion mechanisms that allow players to restrict access to their accounts for a set duration or indefinitely.

Self-Assessment

To help players identify early signs of problematic gambling behavior, we encourage self-reflection through the following questions:

1. Do you often gamble to escape from stress or negative emotions?
2. Have you ever felt the need to gamble with larger amounts of money to achieve the same level of excitement?
3. Do you find yourself chasing losses more often than not?
4. Have you ever experienced feelings of guilt or shame after gambling?
5. Are you neglecting personal relationships or responsibilities due to your gambling habits?
6. Do you lie about the amount of money or time you spend gambling?
7. Have you noticed a significant impact on your finances due to your gambling activities?

If you answer “yes” to any of these questions, it may be time to assess your gambling behavior more critically and consider utilizing the available support tools.

Protection of Minors

At PokieFox, we prioritize the protection of minors and take extensive measures to prevent underage access to our platform. These measures include:

• Age Verification: Players must provide accurate personal information during the registration process to verify their age.
• KYC Checks: Know Your Customer (KYC) procedures are implemented to ensure that all players are of legal gambling age, in compliance with Australian regulations.

We are dedicated to creating a safe environment for all players, and we actively monitor accounts to detect any suspicious activity related to underage gambling.

External Help

In addition to the tools provided by PokieFox, external support organizations can offer valuable assistance to players seeking help with gambling-related issues. Some of these organizations include:

• GamCare: Offers support and advice for players experiencing problems with gambling.
• BeGambleAware: Provides information and resources to help individuals make informed decisions about their gambling activities.
• Local Support Services: Various community-based initiatives in Australia offer counseling and support for individuals struggling with gambling-related challenges.

Players are encouraged to reach out to these organizations for confidential and non-judgmental support.
